Mary Doubrava

Just a short note about myself.

I am married. My husband Gary and I are blessed with both children and grandchildren.

We enjoy the outdoors especially the Colorado mountains. We love to snowshoe, kayak and hike there. Our hearts belong to those mountains.

I also drum, meditate and workout in the gym.

I believe that a healthy body and mind are extremely important to a happy and fulfilling life.

I have always had animals as companions throughout my lifetime.

At this time, I have a ten-year-old calico cat, named Allie who found us one day as we were snowshoeing. Macgregor is our beloved blond five-year-old Cairn Terrier and our latest addition is Rosalie, our four-month-old calico kitten.

All of my animals have had Animal Reiki sessions.

They give us so much unconditional love that I can’t imagine my life without them.

What is Reiki?

Thank you for viewing my web site. I have used Reiki on people and animals for a few years with wonderful success. My love of helping has led me on a path which helped me to achieve Level III Reiki and Karuna II which is the next Reiki level. Karuna Reiki helps in the healing process in a compassionate way as it works with all enlightened beings.

Reiki is not a religion. It’s comparable to the “Healing Touch” that doctors and nurses have been trained to use.

Reiki is a Japanese healing modality that can reduce stress which compliments and promotes healing. Reiki is a technique that treat emotional, physical, spiritual and mental aspects of the body. We all have energy in and around our bodies. Reiki keeps that energy healthy, balanced and flowing.

Reiki has been known to increase a person’s healing energy supply to help when they are physically ill or in pain (Reiki “The Healing Touch” by William Lee Rand). it has been shown that Reiki before and after surgery can shorten the recuperation period.
